NDRC: More Measures to be Taken for Consolidating, Expanding Development Advantage of NEV Industry

Huo Fubeng, Deputy Director General of the Department of Industry Development at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said the NDRC will work with relevant parties to take more pragmatic measures to promote new energy vehicles to improve quality, reduce costs and expand volume, so as to consolidate and expand the industry's development advantage.

In encouraging the consumption of NEVs, the next step is to promote the implementation of policies including vehicle replacement, improvement of NEV penetration in rural areas, and the electrification of public sector vehicles, in order to further expand the market scale.
