CE-in-Council Approves $2 Flagfall Fare Hike for Taxis, Effective 14 Jul

The Chief Executive in Council approved today (14 May) adjustments to the Urban, New Territories (NT) and Lantau taxi fares, with increases of $2 in flagfall charge, $0.2 in the incremental charge for the first-tier distance after flagfall, and $0.1 in the incremental charge for the second-tier distance after flagfall. The flagfall fare for Urban taxis will increase from $27 to $29, for New Territories taxis from $23.5 to $25.5 and for Lantau taxis from $22 to $24. AAStocks Financial News |
