Rumors circulating on online social media platforms of China said that a driver was injured and sent to the hospital due to battery leakage while driving BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)'s vehicle.

As shown in a video of the relevant dashcam, the front-seat passenger did not show any abnormal situation, and the car owner could also unbuckle seatbelt to move around, Chinese media quoted BYD COMPANY's responds as saying.
