Rumors circulating on online social media platforms of China said that a driver was injured and sent to the hospital due to battery leakage while driving BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)'s vehicle. As shown in a video of the relevant dashcam, the front-seat passenger did not show any abnormal situation, and the car owner could also unbuckle seatbelt to move around, Chinese media quoted BYD COMPANY's responds as saying. Also, the car is equipped with a safety design for potential equalization, with no abnormality in leakage monitoring.
