Chinese media reported that Dai Houliang, Party Group Secretary and Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), parent of PETROCHINA (00857.HK) (601857.SH), met with BIDU-SW (09888.HK) (BIDU.US) Founder, Chairman and CEO Robin Li and his entourage yesterday (6 May). Dai Houliang said that CNPC will accelerate the construction of "Digital CNPC", strengthen pragmatic cooperation with Baidu, promote the deep integration of the energy industry with digital intelligence, and make greater contributions to the protection of national energy security.
