CN Ministry of Culture and Tourism: 1Q24 Total Spending During Domestic Tour Trips Lifts 17% YoY

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that according to the results of a sample survey on domestic tourism, China's number of domestic tourist trips was 1.419 billion in 1Q24, a YoY growth of 16.7%. Among them, urban residents made 1.077 billion trips, rising 14.1% YoY, while rural residents made 342 million trips, hiking 25.7% YoY. During the period, the total spending of domestic tourists during their trips was RMB1.52 trillion, elevating 17% YoY. Among them, urban residents spent RMB1.29 trillion on domestic tours, increasing 15.4% YoY, while rural residents spent RMB230 billion on domestic tours, lifting 26.9% YoY. AAStocks Financial News |
