Citi Research wrote in a report, citing understandings through industry channels, that Macau's total GGR for the first 14 days of April may reach MOP8.3 billion, implying that the average daily run-rate for the period is about MOP586 million, which is about 2% lower than the average daily run-rate of MOP600 million for the first seven days of April. Also citing industry sources, Citi said Macau's VIP volume fell 6-7% MoM, while mass market volume declined 4-5% MoM, with VIP hold rate likely lower than normal. As a result, the broker maintained its Macau GGR forecast for April 2024 at MOP18.5 billion, implying that the predicted average daily run-rate for the rest of the month will be around MOP638 million per day.
