TIMES CHINA (01233.HK) was hit by a winding-up petition by HANG SENG BANK (00011.HK), and recovered more than $2 billion of financial obligations. TIMES CHINA last traded at $0.128, down 46.22%, on volume of 20.445 million shares and turnover of $3.167 million. The stock once tumbled 51.26% to bottom at $0.116.

TIMES CHINA had earlier said the High Court of Hong Kong set the first hearing date for the petition on 3 July 2024. The company will seek legal measures to resolutely oppose the petition, and take all necessary actions to protect its legal rights.
