BYD Delivers 42 Pure Electric Double-decker Buses to KMB

The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (KMB) said that representatives of BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) visited the KMB Kowloon Bay Depot last Friday (30th), sharing the latest technology and development trend of new energy buses with KMB. KMB also announced that 42 pure electric double-decker buses produced by BYD, which have been delivered to KMB, are now under final inspection. It was expected that the first double-decker electric bus will be put into operation as soon as July. Roger Lee, Managing Director of KMB, said that the HK bus company will continue to join forces with BYD in the future, including exchanges on its maintenance and battery application according to the operation of double-decker electric buses, so as to further develop technology.
