BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) launched its second-generation blade battery along with flash charging technology, further enhancing low-temperature performance and providing more details on other specifications such as range and battery life, Daiwa released a research report saying. The broker believed that the new generation of blade battery will bring more positive factors to the Company, and rated BYD COMPANY at Buy. The Company plans to build 20,000 flash charging stations by the end of this year, with 18,000 located in cities and 2,000 units on highways, which are expected to cover one-third of the highway transportation network, Daiwa quoted BYD COMPANY as saying. These flash charging stations will be open for use by other carmakers. The construction plan for flash charging stations in overseas regions is also expected to be completed by the end of this year.
