As the US-Israel-Iran conflict escalates, China is negotiating with Iran to allow crude oil and Qatari LNG vessels to safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters, citing people with the knowledge of the matter, reported.

China reportedly maintains friendly relations with Iran and heavily relies on supplies from the Middle East, while being dissatisfied with Iran's move to close shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, and it is pressuring Iran to allow safe passage of vessels.
