Iran: Strait of Hormuz Not Blocked; Passage Rules During Wartime Controlled by Iran

Iran has not blocked the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian media quoted an Iranian military officer as saying. At the moment, they are treating vessels passing through the strait according to international rules and established agreements, only intercepting warships disguised as merchant ships.
