Nvidia (NVDA.US) has ceased production of H200 chips specifically for the Chinese market and has redirected the production capacity of its foundry partner TSMC (TSM.US) to its next-generation AI supercomputer hardware, Vera Rubin, The Financial Times reported.

According to the report, Nvidia announced last week that it had received permission from the US government to ship a small quantity of H200 chips to Chinese customers. This production halt, however, suggests that there won't be meaningful sales of H200 chips in China in the short term.
