Southbound funds logged a net outflow of more than HKD10 billion in the afternoon, with the latest net outflow at HKD11.029 billion. The HSI opened 334 points higher and initially spiked 487 points to peak at 25,736. However, the gains narrowed sharply in the afternoon, with the latest print showing an increase of 18 points or 0.07% to 25,268. The turnover was HKD220.5 billion.
