XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) co-founder and vice chairman Lin Bin agreed to acquire a 1% stake in the American football team Miami Dolphins at a valuation of USD12.5 billion, Bloomberg reported, citing people with the knowledge of the matter.

This acquisition by Lin requires approval from the National Football League (NFL) in the US, needing the consent of at least 24 team owners to proceed.
