HK Sees Inbound Visitors Grow ~10% to 7.23M This Yr Until Feb 13, Says Paul Chan

The number of visitors to Hong Kong has been growing this year, Paul Chan, Hong Kong's Financial Secretary, said in his blog.

From January 1 to last Friday (13th), a total of 7.23 million travelers visited Hong Kong, marking a YoY increase of 9.6%. Among them, overseas visitors stood out with a spike of 16.4%.

During the Chinese New Year Golden Week holiday, Hong Kong is expected to welcome 1.43 million mainland Chinese visitors, with the average daily number of visitors climbing by around 6% YoY.
