China and the UK should implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continuously release positive signals for bilateral relations, and explore more potential for cooperation, Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister said while meeting British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper at the Munich Security Conference last Friday (13th).

They should conduct a new round of economic and financial dialogue, the Joint Economic and Trade Committee meeting, and the China-UK Strategic Dialogue, resume normal exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries, and enhance cultural exchanges, Wang indicated. China welcomes enterprises from the UK and other countries to invest in China, make good use of platforms like the China International Import Expo (CIIE), and expand exports to China.
