Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party and the foreign minister, said at the Munich Security Conference (MSC) last Saturday (14th) that the Asian region is not plain sailing or calm water, and that vigilance is now needed against the dangerous developments emerging in Japan recently.

Wang emphasized that the erroneous statements by Japanese Prime Minister on the Taiwan issue reveal Japan's undiminished ambition to invade and colonize Taiwan and the lingering specter of militarism. He reminded the Japanese people not to be misled and coerced by far-right forces and extremism again.
