SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK) is spinning off its automotive-related optical business, Sunny Smart Autotech, for a listing in Hong Kong. It has already submitted a listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with CICC and CITIC Securities acting as joint sponsors. According to the preliminary prospectus, Sunny Smart Autotech focuses on providing in-vehicle camera solutions and other automotive optical solutions, with clients including mainstream suppliers and automakers. For 1-3Q ending last September, Sunny Smart Autotech's revenue grew by nearly 15.5% YoY to around RMB5.146 billion, while net profit rose by 6.3% to nearly RMB960 million. AAStocks Financial News |
