DONGFANG ELEC (01072.HK) opened 2.2% higher before its gain extended, and once surged 10.8% to hit a nearly-6-month high of $27.46. It last printed at $25.86, leaping 4.36%, with a turnover of $389 million. HARBIN ELECTRIC (01133.HK) once escalated 7.7% to a high of $19.2, setting an all-time high.
