BABA-W (09988.HK) held a Qianwen launch event on Thursday (15th), where its Qianwen App introduced several new Agent features, CICC's research report noted. This version of Qianwen manifested Agent invocation capabilities based on Chatbot technology, releasing applications in scenarios such as lifestyle services, work office, and education. In the lifestyle service scenario, the Qianwen App integrates with Alibaba's ecosystem businesses such as Taobao, Alipay, Taobao Instant Commerce, Fliggy, and Amap, allowing users to perform AI shopping functions like ordering food delivery, purchasing items, booking flights, and reserving hotels, CICC pointed out. Leveraging Taobao's vast supply and closed-loop one-stop service is expected to provide users with a better experience. CICC roughly maintained Alibaba's revenue and profit forecasts, and kept a target price of USD204 for Alibaba (BABA.US) in the US market and HKD197 in the Hong Kong market, with an Outperform rating, indicating an upside potential of 17% and 20% for the Hong Kong and US markets, respectively.
