US Supreme Court Issues No Ruling on Trump Tariffs

The US Supreme Court announced three decisions yesterday (14th), none of which involved the case concerning US President Donald Trump's tariff policies, according to foreign media.

The court has not announced the date for its next issue rulings, and typically does not disclose in advance which cases will be decided on specific dates.

During the oral arguments held on 5 November 2025, both conservative and liberal justices of the Supreme Court questioned the legality of the tariffs.

Trump invoked the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to implement reciprocal tariffs, a law originally designed for national emergencies.

The Trump administration is currently appealing lower court rulings, which ruled that the implementation of reciprocal tariffs exceeded authority.
