Compared with late December 2025, China saw prices rise for 27 products, fall for 20, and remain unchanged for 3 in early January 2026, according to monitoring by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on market prices for 50 key production materials across nine major categories in the national circulation sector.

Among them, the price of live hogs (commercial crossbred) grew by 6.8% to RMB12.5/ kg, soybeans (yellow soybeans) fell by 2.1% to RMB4,175.3/ ton, and lithium iron phosphate (standard power type) surged by 11.3% to RMB49,980/ ton.
