Hong Kong stocks opened higher in the morning session, driven by techs. The HSI opened 145 points or 0.6% higher at 26,376. The HSCEI opened 67 points or 0.7% higher at 9,116. The HSTECH opened 50 points or 0.9% higher at 5,737.

The Office of the State Council Anti-Monopoly and Anti-Unfair Competition Committee announced an investigation and assessment into the competitive situation in the food delivery platform service industry. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) jumped up 2.8% to $101.3, while JD-SW (09618.HK) added 0.9%. BABA-W (09988.HK) ticked up 0.3% to $146.9.
