Investment bank Truist issued a report overnight (6th), initiating coverage on the big data services provider, Palantir (PLTR.US), with a Buy rating and a target price of US$223. As Palantir's stock price has mounted by more than 1.2 times over the past year, Truist acknowledged a huge valuation premium for Palantir, but pointed out enormous opportunity in the company to drive the adoption of GenAI by governments and enterprises. Palantir's momentum has been markedly strengthened by the launch of its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), with revenue growth accelerating YoY over the past few years, and a larger proportion of this growth translating into OPM.
