In the US bourse, the DJIA and S&P 500 hit new highs. In Hong Kong, stocks opened lower this morning, with the HSI down 108 points or 0.4% at 26,601. The HSCEI opened down 27 points or 0.3% at 9,216. The HSTECH opened down 16 points or 0.3% at 5,809. In the tech sector, TENCENT (00700.HK) opened 0.8% lower at HK$627.5, and BABA-W (09988.HK) opened 2.5% lower at HK$147.1. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) and MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) opened flat at HK$75.5 and HK$106.1 respectively. JD-SW (09618.HK) and NTES-S (09999.HK) opened 0.3% and 0.5% higher respectively, while BIDU-SW (09888.HK) opened 1.7% lower. Chip stocks SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) opened 1.1% and 2.5% higher, respectively. Lei Jun revealed that the new generation XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) SU7 series will come standard with LiDAR, and is envisioned to launch in April. Xiaomi opened flat at HK$38.76. LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) issued domestic shares to Jinyi High-Tech at a premium, raising another RMB3 billion, and its share price opened 0.9% lower. Among other auto stocks, BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) opened flat at HK$99.2, XPENG-W (09868.HK) and LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) opened 1.4% and 1.7% lower, respectively, and NIO-SW (09866.HK) opened 2.3% lower.
