LINK REIT (00823.HK) announced updates to its interim leadership structure, JPMorgan released a research report saying. Although the main direction remains unchanged, the announcement may imply that the search for a new Group CEO might take longer than expected, as the announcement indicates that Chair Duncan Owen has agreed to devote more time to support Group CFO and Group CIO until May 2027. The new CEO may not be appointed until 2027, according to the broker. JPMorgan maintained a Neutral view on LINK REIT as there is no signs of improvement in rental recovery amid challenges posed by cross-border e-commerce like PDD Holdings (PDD.US); and the US 10-year treasury yield remains high at over 4.1%.
