Nvidia (NVDA.US) CEO Jensen Huang met with US President Donald Trump and lawmakers to discuss the issue of export controls on AI chips, Bloomberg reported. The GAIN AI Act, which seeks to restrict chip manufacturers like Nvidia and AMD (AMD.US) from selling advanced chips to countries such as China, will not be included in the defense bill. The GAIN AI Act requires chip manufacturers to prioritize offering advanced AI chips to US customers before selling them to China and other countries under arms embargoes.
