KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) launched on December 1 the latest version of the Kling O1 model, positioning it as the "world’s first unified multi-modal video model", Citi said in its report. Apart from improved video effects and consistency, this upgrade includes two key technological innovations: extending the maximum video length from 5 seconds to 10 seconds, and introducing an integrated framework that allows users to combine diverse instructions in a single input box, such as text prompts, reference images, and videos, eliminating the need for scattered tools through task merging. The new model should remarkably enhance the flexibility and efficiency of user-generated videos, Citi opined, observing that Kuaishou continues to strengthen Kling technology to maintain its leading position, despite escalating competition in video generation models. Despite some policy headwinds in its e-commerce, the broker maintained Buy for KUAISHOU-W given its undemanding valuation, with a target price of HKD88.
