XIAOMI-W Swells 4%+ as Lei Jun Adds Stake by HKD100M+

Lei Jun, the founder, chairman, and CEO of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), increased his stake in the company by purchasing 2.6 million shares on market on November 24 for over HKD100 million in his personal capacity, at an average price of HKD38.58 per share, slightly raising his holding to 23.26%, as revealed by the latest data from the HKEX.

Xiaomi conducted share buybacks on last Thursday and Friday (20th and 21st), repurchasing a total of 21.5 million shares with a total expenditure exceeding HKD800 million. Including buyback operations year to date, Xiaomi's cumulative buyback amount has exceeded HKD2.3 billion so far this year.
