Besides, Xiaomi introduced the “AEB Collision Avoidance Assistance Upgrade”, adding forward low-speed collision avoidance assistance with a working speed range of 1-10 km/h; and rear low-speed collision avoidance assistance with a working speed range of 1-30 km/h. It supports identifying more types of targets, including industry common ones, as well as pillars, water-filled barriers, and walls.

Xiaomi also briefed on the new safety assistance feature “AES Emergency Steering Assistance”, which can perform emergency steering assistance when AEB cannot effectively avoid or reduce collision risk, provided there is space and lane conditions allow. Xiaomi AES Emergency Steering Assistance successfully passed the safety assistance function test by CAERI.
