China's average national urban surveyed unemployment rate for 10M25 was 5.2%, as announced by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). For October alone, the national urban surveyed unemployment rate was 5.1%, a decrease of 0.1 ppt from September, compared to a market expectation of 5.2%. The surveyed unemployment rate for local household registration labor force was 5.3%, while the surveyed unemployment rate for non-local household registration labor force was 4.7%. Of which, the surveyed unemployment rate for non-local agricultural household registration labor force was 4.5%.
