FWD's Interim NP Surges 14.7x to USD47M; VNB Up 21%

FWD (01828.HK) has announced its interim results for the period ended June 2025. The company's insurance revenue reached USD1.482 billion, up 8.9% YoY, while its net profit soared by 14.66 times YoY to USD47 million, a new high for interim results since the IFRS 17 was adopted. Its EPS came in at USD2.32 cents. No dividend was declared. At constant exchange rates, FWD's operating profit after tax grew by 9% to USD251 million, new business sales increased by 38% to USD1.246 billion, and new business contractual service margin rose by 34% to USD794 million.
