As US export restrictions continue to reshape the global AI chip landscape, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US)      has "basically" ceded the China AI chip market to Huawei,
Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, said.

He noted that demand in China is very strong. After NVIDIA withdrew from the China market, the domestic chip ecosystem in China has developed well, whereas Huawei's capabilities are also very strong.

Huang expressed a cautious view on the prospects of China's recent market reopening, saying the company has informed investors that no expectations should be placed on approvals for selling advanced chips to China.
