The White House has invited representatives from more than a dozen US companies to accompany US President Donald Trump on his visit to Beijing next week, Reuters reported, quoting people with the knowledge of the matter.

However, the size of the delegation is smaller than the 29 prominent corporate executives who joined Trump during his 2017 visit to China, which may signal divisions within the US government over its economic policy toward China and limited expectations for the upcoming summit.
