According to a Legislative Council document, CUHK Medical Centre recorded revenue of approximately HKD2.147 billion for the period from July 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, representing a YoY increase of 17%. During the same period, loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation amounted to approximately HKD46 million, narrowing by 67% YoY compared with the same period of the previous financial year.The Legislative Council Panel on Health Services will discuss the financial position of CUHK Medical Centre tomorrow (May 8). The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the hospital management earlier proposed to proactively repay the outstanding loan of HKD4.033 billion in full by March next year. (ha/u)
