Gao Shiyun, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Housing Administration Bureau, revealed that authorities are studying the introduction of an inclusive youth housing policy to further ease the rental burden on young people.

During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Shanghai's supply of affordable rental housing will focus on building a systematic protection framework for key groups, diversifying housing sources and strengthening precise supply-demand matching, Gao said.
