Reuters, citing sources, reported that Meta Platforms, Inc. (META.US) is working with Morgan Stanley (MS.US) and JP Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM.US) to arrange an approximately USD13 billion financing plan for its data center in El Paso, Texas. In March, Meta increased its planned investment in the El Paso AI data center by more than sixfold to USD10 billion, aiming to reach 1 gigawatt of computing power before the facility is expected to commence operations in 2028.Bloomberg previously reported that most of the financing is expected to be in the form of debt, with the remainder in equity.
