Social media company Reddit, Inc. (RDDT.US) announced that, driven by double-digit growth in advertising revenue, first-quarter profit reached USD204 million, compared with only USD26 million in the same period last year. EPS was USD1.01, far exceeding market expectations of USD0.57.
