EU regulators have accused Facebook and Instagram, owned by Meta Platforms, Inc. (META.US) , of violating the Digital Services Act, stating that the company must adopt additional measures to prevent children under the age of 13 from accessing the two social media platforms.Under the Digital Services Act, major technology companies are required to take stronger action to combat illegal and harmful content on their platforms.
