US stocks traded mixed on Friday as investors awaited upcoming peace talks between the United States and Iran to be held in Pakistan. Boosted by a surge of more than 20% in Intel (INTC.US) , the Nasdaq opened up 178 points, or 0.7%, at 24,616. The S&P 500 opened up 28 points, or 0.4%, at 7,136. The DJIA opened up 9 points at 49,320, but soon reversed course to fall about 200 points, or 0.4%, in early trading.Intel reported quarterly earnings that far exceeded expectations.
