Since opening at 1 Queen's Road Central in 1865, HSBC has been rooted in Hong Kong for 161 years. The fourth-generation HSBC main building, which commenced operations in 1986, has become one of the most iconic landmarks on Hong Kong's skyline with its forward-looking design. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the building's opening.
