Alibaba DAMO Academy launched the new-generation flagship CPU, XuanTie C950, at the 2026 Xuantie RISC-V Ecosystem Conference held in Shanghai.

This CPU adopts a 5-nanometer process, with a frequency of 3.2GHz. Its single-core performance surpasses 70 points for the first time, more than tripling the comprehensive performance of its predecessor, Xuantie C920.

With the open-source RISC-V architecture, the XuanTie C950 is suitable for fields such as cloud computing, generative AI, high-end robotics, and edge computing. Thanks to the open-source nature of RISC-V and the self-developed AI acceleration engine, this CPU natively supports Qwen3, DeepSeek V3, and other large models with hundreds of billions of parameters for the first time, enabling it to become one of the new high-end CPUs in the AI Agent era.
