The US set April 9 as the target date to ceasefire in Iran, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Israeli officials as saying.

Talks between the US and Iran are expected to be held later this week in Pakistan, and the US has not yet informed Israel of the details of its contact with Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, sources divulged.

After US President Donald Trump mentioned engaging with Iran, Israel assessed that the US had begun indirect negotiations with Qalibaf, report told.

However, Qalibaf dismissed any negotiations with the US yesterday (23rd) and negated the reports of such talks as fake news aimed at manipulating the financial and oil markets.

Trump ordered all strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure to be delayed by five days.
