The price of battery-grade lithium carbonate in Mainland China escalated from RMB148,000 per ton to RMB158,500 per ton in February, marking an MoM hike of 7.1%, the Lithium Industry Branch of the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association stated. This indicated a continuation of the price uptrend, with market prices leapfrogging after the Spring Festival, showing an "off-season not weak" trend. It was expected that the basis between lithium carbonate futures and spot prices will continue to rattle for a while.Related News Ganfeng Lithium (01772.HK) Turns Profit with RMB1.614 Billion for Full Year, Declares Final Dividend of RMB0.15
