He Lifeng, Chinese Vice Premier, met with executives from well-known multinational companies (MNCs) such as HSBC, UBS, Louis Dreyfus, Rio Tinto, Prudential, Standard Chartered, and Suzano at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse last Saturday evening (21st), according to Xinhua News Agency.

He extended a warm welcome for MNCs to ramp up their investment in China and continuously deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

He stated that the mainland economy is steadily progressing with improvements. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the mainland will unswervingly expand high-level opening-up and promote high-quality development, creating broader market opportunities for MNCs.

The executives of the MNCs expressed their confidence in the mainland economy and their willingness to continue deepening their presence in the mainland market and expanding their investment in China.
