The CCTV '3.15' Gala exposed issues with rental electric bicycles, including those from HelloRide, according to Chinese media.

When asked by reporters, HelloRide's customer service replied that the Company has noted the relevant reports from the 3.15 Gala. The Company's management attaches great importance to the matter, and has immediately established a special emergency task force to conduct comprehensive self-inspection and rectification overnight.

Regarding the 'specific issues' of concern, the Company will later release detailed handling announcements through channels such as its official app.

During the investigation, reporters found that not only do electric bicycles rented out by local independent shops violate national standards, but some well-known chain brands are also guilty of the same practice. HelloRide is a leading brand in the electric bicycle rental industry.

It currently operates over 5,000 stores across more than 100 cities in China, according to its official website. Staff at HelloRide's offline store stated that their electric bicycles can reach speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour.
