Alibaba Cloud, the cloud business platform of BABA-W (09988.HK)  +0.900 (+0.684%)    Short selling $1.52B; Ratio 26.214%   , announced that its ultra-large-scale computing power center located in Shanghai will accelerate production, utilizing Alibaba's self-developed AI chips for construction.

In a press release, Alibaba Cloud detailed that the project was established in Jinshan District in 2021, with a total investment of RMB40 billion. Pursuant to the cooperation agreement signed between Alibaba Cloud and the Jinshan District government, the center will focus on deploying Alibaba's T-Head computing power chips, building a full-stack autonomous computing power base from underlying chips, intelligent computing platforms to upper-level applications.
