The AI team of MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)  +0.400 (+0.508%)    Short selling $1.41B; Ratio 41.548%   , known as Light Year AI, recently launched the Tabbit AI browser, which was recently accused by a netizen of plagiarizing code from a open-source project named "read-frog".

The Light Year AI team issued an apology statement and indicated that the translation project code will be removed from the new version of the Tabbit browser, and the project has been entirely open-sourced.

The Light Year AI team added that they have communicated with the author of read-frog for formal authorization of the project. Once authorization is obtained, they will update the code and restore the related functionality.
