SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won has pledged to expand the AI chip production to meet the demand from global data centers, but he didn't specify the scale of the expansion.

Last month, SK Hynix, a subsidiary of SK Group, revealed that this year's capital expenditure will rise drastically YoY to address the market demand for HBM chips.
