Tan Zuojun, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), recently attended the "Advanced Training Course on Biotechnology Industry for Central State-owned Enterprises (SOEs)" and emphasized the need to accelerate the development of central SOEs in the biopharmaceutical industry. He stressed the importance of innovation-driven development, long-term development, and differentiated development.

It is crucial to precisely seize the key development directions and implementation paths for central SOEs and actively promote collaborative innovation with research institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, he said. The aim is to expedite the formation of a national team in the biopharmaceutical field and promote high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry in the mainland.
